Little Free Library

OUR LITTLE FREE LIBRARY

Have you seen the Little Free Library at the Community Park? Caledonia was one of 3 locations chosen for a Little Free Library. It is part of a collaborative project between New London High School English and Shop classes. Under the direction of teacher Andy Fuhs, shop students constructed the little libraries. Ms.Diane Vantassel’s English class coordinated the collection of books.

The Little Free Library organization began in 2009 in Hudson, WI. It encourages reading through free books. Their slogan “take a book, return a book” is simple. Just browse the books in the little box. If you like something, read it. Return the book or donate your own. It’s all free!

Here are photos from the recent dedication.
