The Town of Caledonia is seeking a qualified individual for the part-time Commercial Cleaning position.

Candidate must possess a strong attention to detail and a desire to produce quality work. Successful candidate must be a self-starter able to work with little or no supervision. Must have a valid driver's license, be able to pass a background check, and have weekend availability.

DUTIES

The job duties include cleaning and maintaining common areas such as community spaces, indoor & outdoor restrooms, pavilions, offices, and storage areas. Restock toilet paper, paper towels, soaps, and empty garbage receptacles. Order cleaning supplies and manage the budget. Heavy lifting, bending, and the use of chemicals are required for this position. Please see attached job posting for complete job duties.

EXPERIENCE

Previous experience in cleaning or property management desired.

WORK LOCATIONS & HOURS

The Commercial Cleaning position is part-time with a variable schedule that will follow a set schedule for regular cleaning tasks and manage post-rental inspections. This position will work in-person at Gruetzmacher Park on Bean City Rd, New London and Caledonia Community Center & Readfield Park on Hwy 96 in Readfield.
